Police: Man charged with assault for pushing woman weeks after stabbing her in Nashua

The Associated Press

NASHUA – A man was arrested for allegedly pushing a woman and breaking her cellphone just weeks after police say he stabbed the same woman.

Steven Twombley, 47 of Nashua, was arrested Friday and is facing domestic violence charges.

Police said the woman was stabbed by Twombley several weeks earlier, which resulted in a minor injury, but was not reported to the police.

He is charged with first-degree assault, domestic violence, simple assault, criminal mischief, and possession of a controlled drug.

Twombley was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
