Police: Man busted driving BMW 133 mph in 65 zone on I-89 in NH

WARNER — A man was busted going double the speed limit on a New Hampshire highway, police said.

Alrick Barnett, 35 of Manchester, was traveling at a speed of 133 mph on Interstate 89 in a 2007 BMW 550i sedan, according the N.H. State Police. He was weaving in and out of traffic while traveling northbound on Tuesday at about 6:07 a.m., the trooper said.

The trooper was able to determine through radar that Barnett was traveling 133 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Barnett was charged with reckless driving, and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough Circuit Court on Nov. 15.
