Police: Man busted after grabbing fistfuls of cash during Hannaford robbery in Hampstead

Several people chased and took down a man after robbing a Hannaford Supermarket in Hampstead..

Stephen Spring, 28, of 50 Acadia Ave #7 Hampton, NH, was allegedly in line to buy a pack of gum when he pushed the cashier and grabbed $300 from the cash register.

Several customers and store employees restrained Spring to the ground until police officers arrived to arrest him.

No weapons were used in the robbery and there were no injuries.
