Police: Man arrested for sexually assaulting 11-year-old girl in Nashua


NASHUA — A man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in a Nashua home.

The Nashua Police department was notified of a sexual assault on Tuesday at about 4:05 p.m. The victim was reported as an 11-year-old female known by the suspect, Felix Perez, 46 of Bronx, N.Y.

Upon further investigation, police applied and were granted an arrest warrant for Perez on Thursday. Police received a tip that Perez was in New York City, so they went there in an effort to locate him.

Perez was found and arrested in the Bronx, N.Y. on Friday night. He appeared before court in NYC and waived extradition. He was turned over to the Nashua Detectives on Saturday.

Perez was charged with three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, a class A felony. Each felony is punishable by up to 15 years in state prison plus exclusive fines.

Perez is being held on $200,000 cash only bail pending arraignment on Monday.
