Police: Machete attack leads to assault, weapons, drug charges for Nashua man

NASHUA - Police said a machete attack led to the arrest a Nashua man on assault, weapon and drug charges.

A man told the police he was at Ryan Lee's apartment when he was hit in the head twice with a machete.

Police said the man had two large cuts on his head after the attack.

In Lee's apartment, police said they found a machete, a sawed off shotgun, marijuana and an unspecified narcotic.

He was was charged with first-degree assault, two counts of being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, acts prohibited - all felonies - and possession of a controlled drug, and possession of property without a serial number, both misdemeanors.

Lee is being held on $50,000 cash bail.
