Police looking for suspect accused of stabbing a man in the face at NH hotel

LACONIA — Laconia Police are searching for a man accused of assaulting another with a knife at the Landmark Inn on Thursday.

Police responded to the hotel around 11:30 p.m. to find a 43-year-old man bleeding due to severe injuries on his face, police said.

The victim told police that he knows the suspect and that the man pulled a knife out during the altercation.

Police searched the room to recover evidence but are not releasing details of what they found at this time.

The victim was brought to Lakes Region General Hospital for treatment.

Police have identified the suspect and said the community is not in any danger at this time.
