Police looking for man suspected of robbing several cars in Laconia over the past 5 days

LACONIA — Police are seeking the help of the public in finding a man suspected of robbing several cars in the area of Province Road.

The thefts have occurred during the early morning hours over the past five days and police believe there is more than one person who has been involved in the crime.

None of the businesses were broken into, but the thefts have happened on the property outside the secured buildings within the parking lots, according to police.

Surveillance footage obtained by police from one of the security cameras in the area shows a man going into parked cars inside of the parking lot and taking tools and other personal items from the cars.

The man is described to be tall and skinny with facial hair, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and baseball hat.

Anyone with further information regarding this case is asked to contact the Laconia Police Department at 603-524-5252.
