CHESTER — Police are looking for a person who led authorities in several towns on a high-speed chase in a stolen truck.

The pursuit started in Salem after police spotted a truck reported stolen out of Haverhill, Mass. The truck is a 2002 Ford 350 pickup that is goldish/brown in color and has New Hampshire plates, police said.

The chase ended in Chester where the suspect abandoned the truck and fled on foot.

A Kingston woman named Kelsey Robertson said on social media that the truck belongs to her and was stolen from her father's garage in Haverhill, Mass.

Authorities are conducting ground and aerial searches for the suspect. Officers from several departments are on scene including New Hampshire State Police, Chester police, the Rockingham County Sheriff and Salem police.

Hampstead police said the suspect is a shorter male with short dark hair.

Hampstead police said the pursuit went through their town up Route 121 into Chester. The truck was abandoned on a dirt road in Derry near the Chester and Auburn town lines.

Police are asking anyone who sees suspicious behavior to call your local department.
