Police looking for inmate missing from transitional housing in Manchester

MANCHESTER - Police and corrections officials are looking for an inmate living in a transitional housing unit who failed to return from work on Saturday afternoon.

Khyree Rasheed Thompson, 25, of Boston, Mass., is described as a black man, 5-foot, 6-inches tall weighing about 260 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was sentenced to 3 to 6 years for sale, possession and manufacturing of cocaine and would have been eligible for parole in March.

He had signed out of the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit at 6:40 a.m. to go to work but failed to return at his scheduled time of 1 p.m., according to the corrections department.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 271-1801.
