Police look for female suspect in Manchester bank robbery


MANCHESTER - Police responded to Members First Credit Union at 44 Bridge St. Tuesday morning for a panic alarm. Officers responded at 9:06 a.m.

Upon arrival, police said they spoke with the bank manager who stated they had been robbed by an unknown woman.

Details were limited, but the initial description of the suspect is as follows; caucasian female, approximately 5 feet tall and 200 lbs. The bank teller believes the woman may have been in her late twenties or early thirties.

She was last seen wearing a black and white sweater with horizontal stripes, oversized black sunglasses, a black hat, black scarf, black pants and was carrying a black back pack. She did not indicate having a weapon and no weapon was observed. She was last seen leaving the bank through the front egress. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
