Police: Keene State student arrested for assaulting another student with knife

KEENE — A Keene State College student was arrested Wednesday after allegedly stabbing another student with a knife.

On April 11, students told police that a student had been assaulted with a knife by Jok Leek, 21 of Concord, on April 9 on Winchester Court. An arrest warrant was issued on April 26 charging him with one count of second-degree assault - a felony.

A court document read, "the defendant did recklessly cause bodily injury to another, …, by means of a knife, a deadly weapon in the manner it was used, by stabbing downward with the knife and cutting…on the back of his left hand."

Police found Leek on campus and arrested him on Wednesday.

Bail has been set at $5,000 cash with an arraignment scheduled for Thursday.
