Police: Keene man facing multiple felony charges after choking wife


KEENE — A man who choked his wife is facing felony charges.

Christopher Gilbert Bluhm, 26 of Keene, choked his wife, Savanah Parkhurst, 24 of Keene, according to police.

This took place at the Keene Inn on West Street. Parkhurst then fled to a CVS bathroom across the street where police found her, Keene Sentinel reported.

Her injuries didn't require hospitalization.

Police spoke with Bluhm who was found walking nearby.

He was charged with second degree assault and criminal threatening, both felonies.

He is being held without bail and will be arraigned Wednesday at the Cheshire County Superior Court in Keene.
