HOLLIS — Police issued a Code Red to the Flint Pond Drive neighborhood Saturday following a domestic disturbance call.
John Cook, 50 of Nashua, allegedly locked himself in a bedroom and refused to come out when police arrived around 5:45 p.m.
"Due to the nature and circumstances of the call, the Nashua Special Reaction team was called to assist," Chief James Sartell said.
Police also issued a shelter in place due to the situation.
Around 8:40 p.m., Cook voluntarily exited the bedroom, police said.
He was arrested for domestic violence and obstructing the report of a crime. Sartell said no other charges are planned.
Cook is being held on $5,000 cash bail pending his arraignment on Monday.
No one was injured during the incident.
