Police issue Amber Alert for missing 3-year-old New England girl


AUGUSTA, Maine — An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 3-year-old who is in the company of an Augusta, Maine, woman.

The missing girl, identified as Lenore Wilson, is described as 30-inches tall, weighing 30 pounds with blond hair.

Police said Wilson is with Fatima Gissentaner, 26, who goes by the nickname of China. She is described as a black woman who is tall, slender, and occasionally cares for the child.

The two were last at an apartment house at 26 Sewall St. in Augusta during the night, when police and EMS were called to the apartment for a medical emergency of the child's mother, who was taken to the hospital.

China may also be in the company of her boyfriend, who goes by the street name "Dollar," police said. There is no information on whether the couple has access to a vehicle.
