Police investigate after finding man with gunshot wound in his leg in Manchester


MANCHESTER — Police are investigating after finding a man with a gunshot wound in his right leg at 5:25 a.m. on Monday.

The man was sitting in the area of the Faucher Block Apartments on the front steps of 138 Pearl Street.

The victim had the gunshot wound in the upper thigh of his right leg.

The victim had wrapped the wound in a towel, and used a belt as a tourniquet.

He was taken to the Elliot Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
