Police in Rochester investigate 2-vehicle crash with injuries

ROCHESTER - Police in Rochester are looking for the public's help as they investigate a two-vehicle crash with two people injured.

On Tuesday, at about 1:45 p.m. Rochester Police, Rochester Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to Farmington Road near the overpass for a reported two-vehicle accident with injury.

Officers said David Gale, 48, of Somersworth was driving a Toyota T100 westbound on Farmington Road. Police said Richard Niles, 55, of Rochester was driving a Ford F150 and had just exited the Spaulding Turnpike at exit 15.

As both vehicles entered the intersection on Farmington Road, they crashed. Both vehicles have extensive front-end damage and were towed from the scene.

Gale and an adult passenger were both transported to Frisbie Hospital by EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

Neither alcohol nor speed appear to have played a role in the collision.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision are encouraged to contact Officer Brandon Kimbrough at (603) 330-7127.
