Police: Hampton woman died at beach from town's 1st opioid overdose of 2016


HAMPTON - Police say a woman died of an opioid overdose at Hampton Beach last Saturday.

Tara Eaton, 44 of 12 L St. was found dead by a family member who called the police, according to Seacoastonline.

Police are investigating toxicology reports to confirm the cause, but there were drugs found in the room where Eaton died.

It is suspected to be Hampton's first death by overdose this year.
