KENSINGTON – Police arrested a man at Portsmouth Hospital after police say he had alcohol in his system at the time of a crash reportedly he caused on North Haverill Road in Kensington on Thursday afternoon.

Police say 69-year-old Alan Carlson, Hampton, failed to yield at the intersection of Kimball and North Haverill Roads, causing a 22-year-old man driving a Jeep Cherokee to crash into his vehicle. The Jeep’s driver was uninjured in the crash.
