Police: Hampton man charged with selling heroin and theft on separate warrants

HAMPTON - A man was arrested on two separate warrants on Sunday.

Police said they arrested Mark Wright, 53 of Hampton, on Sunday for selling heroin, and for stealing food and alcohol from Mobil-Alltown convenience store.

Wright's first arrest warrant stemmed from an earlier investigation when police said he sold heroin to a person who was cooperating with law enforcement.

Police also investigated Wright for the store theft stemming from the Jan. 28 incident.

He is out on bail with an arraignment scheduled for March 8.
