Police foot-chase ends in 2 arrests in Manchester


MANCHESTER – Two men were arrested after police officers discovered them behind the Beach Street School in the middle of the night.

David Floyd and Steven Bussiere claimed to be waiting for a friend before fleeing on foot.

Two officers pursued for two blocks and apprehended Bussiere at the Central Little League field.

After a brief struggle, Bussiere was arrested. Officers conducted a search of the area after Bussiere was seen throwing items out of his pocket.

Police found two syringes, a small bag of cocaine and a set of brass knuckles.

Bussiere has been charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors as well as a violation of bail conditions.

Floyd was located a short time later and charged with resisting arrest.
