NH1.com

DERRY - Police stumbled upon a methamphetamine lab at a car dealership after originally showing up to investigate fraudulent automobile inspection stickers.

UPDATE: Charges still pending for Derry auto dealer where meth lab was found

State police had gone to Auto Alley, located at 255 Rockingham Road with a search warrant as part of their investigation into the stickers and found several vehicles offered for sale by the dealership had issued fake stickers.

While troopers were at the dealership, they said they also discovered ingredients to produce methamphetamine. The New Hampshire Clandestine Laboratory Team was contacted in order to secure the hazardous materials found at the scene.

Windham police assisted in the investigation.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Trooper Nicholas Iannone at 603 223-8778.
