Police: Felon on probation pulls gun during heated argument in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A convicted felon pulled out a gun during a heated argument Tuesday night, police said.

An argument between Andrew Snitgen, 29 of New Boston, and Christopher Wilcott, 23, went from verbal to threatening when Snitgen pulled out a handgun and brandished it, police said.

Witnesses called the police. Snitgen - a convicted felon and currently on probation - then went back into his girlfriend's house to hide the gun before the police arrived, they said.

Officers found the gun later. He was charged with reckless conduct, convicted felon in possession of a deadly weapon, and probation violation hold.

Snitgen is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
