Police: Erratic driving leads to drug charges in Merrimack


MERRIMACK — Merrimack police arrested a 21-year-old man after finding marijuana in his car during a traffic stop at about 6:20 a.m. on Saturday.

Steven Shaw, 21 of Merrimack, was pulled over for allegedly driving erratically, police say. When the officer stopped Shaw he observed signs of drug activity within the car.

After further investigations, the officer arrested Shaw for possession of the controlled drug - marijuana - and transportation of the controlled drug - marijuana.

Shaw was released on $1,500 PR bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15, 2017.
