Police: Drug sting targeting heroin sales in Keene leads to 4 arrests

KEENE - Police on Thursday conducted an enhanced criminal patrol targeting people involved in heroin sales.

4 people were arrested as a result, according to Keene Police.

2 vehicles unrelated to the arrests were also seized to be searched after warrants were issued.

The arrests

Amber Wharton, 27 with no address, was arrested after a foot chase. She was arrested on a warrant of absconding from probation/parole after she failed to comply with participation in Drug Court, police said.

Logan C. Pekarske, 32 of Keene, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of controlled substance (heroin), a class B felony. Pekarske was released on $2,000.00 personal recognizance bail.

Christopher S. Foster Jr., 28 of Keene, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute (heroin). Foster was arraigned on Friday, and bail was set at $100,000. He is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Thursday. After a search warrant was served, $20,000, 120 grams of suspected heroin and 120 grams of cocaine was seized from Foster’s West Street home.

Cortny P. Reichert, 24 of Keene, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug (cocaine), a class B felony. Reichert was released on $2,000.00 personal recognizance bail. A search warrant served at Reichert’s West Street residence (which she shares with Foster) resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine and may result in additional charges being brought.
