Police: Dover man has to be revived by Narcan, extricated after crashing car

DOVER - Police say a Dover man who crashed his car and had to be given Narcan after he was extricated has been charged with drug possession and driving while intoxicated (second offense).

Cameron A. Kennedy, 23, was found unconscious in his mangled car at the intersection of Knox Marsh Road and Littleworth Road early Tuesday morning. Dover Fire and Rescue had to extricate him from the vehicle and administer Narcan at the scene to revive him. He was taken to Wentworth Douglass Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Kennedy was arrested and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 8.
