A car crashed into 79 Maple Avenue in Claremont after barely missing hitting police cars early on Monday morning.
The 1987 Nissan 300ZX, driven by Louis Gratacos III, 18, of Claremont, just missed hitting one police car on Pearl Street before zipping past a second car on its route towards Maple Avenue, according to police. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but it was driving too fast.
The case is still under investigation by police and collision experts.
