Police charge NH man with providing false information when buying gun
MERRIMACK — A man with a warrant for providing false information on a firearm application turned himself in to police Saturday.
Angel Alamo, 27, of Hollis, is facing a charge of unsworn falsification.
On June 15, the Merrimack Police Department was given information alleging that Alamo had attempted to buy a gun, and in the process, filled out an application for the gun with false information. Further investigation by police verified the information and a warrant was issued.
Alamo was released on $1,500 bail and is scheduled to appear in Merrimack district court on Aug. 1.
