Police charge man with reckless conduct connected to shots fired in Nashua

NASHUA — A man accused of firing a gun on a local street in Nashua is now facing charges.

Paul McCarthy, 37, of Hudson, was charged with one count of reckless conduct after he allegedly fired a bullet into the air on Mechanic Street.

Numerous interviews, including video surveillance, were reviewed to determine that McCarthy was responsible.

McCarthy was taken into custody on Tuesday and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7.
