Police arrest NH man accused of hit-and-run on Fourth of July

MERRIMACK — A Nashua man accused of hitting a car and then fleeing on the Fourth of July has been arrested.

On July 4, the Merrimack Police Department received a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident in the area of Miriam Road.

Police determined that Kurt Wilson, 30, of 10 Long Ave., Nashua, hit the car and left the scene without providing any information to the owner of the other vehicle or to police.

Police issued an arrest warrant for conduct after an accident and arrested Wilson on Sunday at 12:24 a.m.

Wilson was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and has a court date scheduled for Aug. 3.
