Police arrest man for illegally passing cars on Route 28 in Wolfeboro
WOLFEBORO — Police arrested a man after an off-duty officer saw him illegally passing vehicles on Route 28 Monday.
Wolfeboro police said the officer reported the orange Dodge Ram 1500 driving erratically at about 9:52 a.m. and was able to follow the vehicle until it could be stopped. Police said several vehicles were forced off the roadway due to the driver's behavior.
Police arrested Randy Dore, 59 of Irvington, Kentucky, for reckless conduct, unlawful passing and solid line violation. He was transported to the Carroll County Jail but was later bailed.
He is scheduled to appear in the Third Circuit Court in Ossipee on June 21.
