On Monday, police arrested Maxwell Boles, 24, and William Robichaud, 23, both of Rochester, charging each with one count of riot, a misdemeanor-level offense.

Rochester police responded to a large-scale fight that broke out in the parking lot of the Cumberland Farms store on Highland Street around 4:21 a.m. Jan. 11.

After investigating, police found that a group of people met up outside of the Cumberland Farms store to confront a nearby person.

A fight broke out, and someone fired a gun into the air. No one was injured, police said.

Police arrested Cole Labonte, 23, of Rochester, Wednesday in regards to the incident. They believe Labonte fired the gun. He faces a class B felony of rioting and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday after being released on $2,500 bail.

Boles was held on $500 cash bail pending arraignment Tuesday, and Robichaud was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail pending an April 17 arraignment.
