Police arrest 2 after noticing 'suspicious activity' at NH 7-Eleven

MANCHESTER — Two people were arrested on drug charges after police noticed suspicious activity in a 7-Eleven parking lot Wednesday.

Manchester police said at about 3:30 a.m. they watched a woman exit a parked Ford Taurus at the 7-Eleven on South Main Street and walk behind a dumpster, while two other individuals remained in the car.

Officers said they spoke with Colleen Boyd, 49, of Manchester, who told them that she walked behind the dumpster to go to the bathroom. Rachelle MacDonald, 30, of no fixed address, and Justin Littlejohn, 37, of Franklin, were the people in the car, police said.

Police said they saw a glass pipe with white residue believed to be crack cocaine fall out of the vehicle as MacDonald exited the car. They searched her person and found a small package of white powder, which they believed to be cocaine. She was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug.

When Littlejohn exited the vehicle, police said they observed a needle sticking out of his pocket. When he went to pull the needle out of his pocket and surrender it to police, a small brown bag containing what they believed to be methamphetamine fell out, police said.

After searching Littlejohn, police said they also found heroin on his person. He was charged with two counts possession of a controlled drug. He was also wanted on a Merrimack Superior Court warrant and three electronic bench warrants.

Both are scheduled to appear in Manchester district court Wednesday. Boyd was not charged in the incident.
