Police allegedly arrest man in North Concord for unknown reasons

CONCORD — Heavy police presence has been reported in North Concord near the bowling alley on Wednesday evening.

Police allegedly responded to a call that witnesses say was a report of a man holding a gun to a child's head.

More than a half a dozen armed police officers responded to the area north of Boutwells Bowling Alley, where they shut down access to three streets.

Concord police told NH1 that the situation was under control. They said man, who has not been identified, was taken into custody on unrelated charges.

Concord Police cleared the scene at about 8 p.m.
