Police across NH warn: Stay off the roads during Blizzard of '15


As of 8 a.m. this morning, many cities across the state are warning drivers to stay off the roads.

Greenland Police tweeting: "Roads are a mess! Don't travel unless absolutely necessary. High winds causing snow drifts ..."

As well as Salem Police department, "Intersection of Rt.28/Rock Blvd. White out conditions. Roads are getting worse, please stay home if you can."

Even Mayor Ted Gatsas of Manchester tweeting, "If you don't have to stay out, stay in."

A crash was reported and since cleared this morning by NHDOT near Seabrook on I-95 southbound at mile marker 1. The Spaulding Turnpike also reported a crash on the Exit 8 off ramp.

More snow totals start to roll in by the hour. These are the latest as of 8 AM this morning:

Nashua: 14.0"
Hudson: 13.0"
West Hampstead: 17.0"
Windham: 16.1"
Portsmouth: 8.0"
Hampton: 11.0"
