Police: 5 people arrested in Manchester after soliciting sex for money to undercover officers

MANCHESTER — Police arrested five people on Thursday night on alleged prostitution charges in the area of Enright Park.

The arrests were part of an undercover operation, where officers dressed in plain clothes and traveled in unmarked cars.

Kristen Carmon, 33, of Manchester, Catherine McDonald, 21, Kristen Soukone, 27, of Manchester, Joshua Calabria, 27, of Manchester, and Jari Prasa Paudel, 34, of Springfield Mass., all were charged with prostitution. Police said the five people each approached the cars the officers were in and offered them sex for money. The police then took each person into custody. The undercover operation started about 5:50 p.m. Thursday and continued until the last arrest at about 9:24 p.m.

The five people were released on bail and are scheduled to appear in Manchester district court on Aug. 25.
