Police: 3 arrested after 2 armed robberies in an hour early Friday morning in Keene

KEENE - Police responded to two armed robberies on West Street and Winchester Street early Friday morning.

Around 2:50 a.m., police responded to an armed robbery at the Circle K on West Street. The suspect in a black hooded sweatshirt and bandana covering his face entered the convenience store brandishing a knife, police said.

He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Later Friday morning at 3:44 a.m. police responded to a second armed robbery at the Sunoco on Winchester Street.

The suspect left Sunoco with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said the suspects fit the same description as the earlier robbery, and police were able to stop a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle given in the Circle K robbery.

After investigation of the vehicle, Justin Paquette, 27, was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery and is held pending arraignment.

Also arrested during this vehicle stop were Nickolas Burt, 26, and Kia Pence, 22. Both were charged with possession of controlled drugs and have been released on personal recognizance bail.
