Police: 20 lbs of marijuana confiscated from 16 bags in NH after DUI traffic stop


NORTHWOOD - Police confiscated 16 bags of marijuana weighing approximately 20 pounds and arrested a man along Route 4 Friday morning.

Police got reports from drivers on Route 4 in the Nottingham/Northwood area, that a black Chevy Tahoe was driving all over the road.

When police stopped the vehicle they arrested Zachary Franklin, 20 of York, Maine, for allegedly operating under the influence and for the alleged distribution of marijuana.

Police say they found Franklin to be in possession of 20 pounds of marijuana in 16 bags.

His bail was set at $10,000 cash.
