Police: 2 teens fired BB, pellet guns at passing cars

GILMANTON — Police caught two 14-year-old boys after they allegedly shot at over 10 cars with pellet and BB guns passing on Province Road near Prescott Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Sergeant Casey Brennan said they arrived at the scene at about 2:30 p.m. and the teens were still firing the guns.

Brennan found the two boys underneath a trailer in the backyard after he saw their legs peaking out. No parents were present.

One of the victims, Barbara Fontaine, said her car was hit and police were slow to get back to her about the problem.

A total of four victims have come forward but police are still looking for the other six.
