SALEM, Mass. — An investigation into the explosion of a LBGTQ newspaper box in Salem, Mass. has led to the arrest of two New Hampshire men.
John Richard, 23 of Hollis, and Lawrence Gilman, 20 of Milford, have been linked to the destruction of the Rainbow Times newspaper box located in the center of town by an explosive device on Aug. 23.
Both men were served a summons to appear in court on Friday. They were charged with malicious or wanton defacing or damaging property over $250 and throwing, secreting, launching or placing an incendiary device.
