Police: 2 friends in separate cars clocked going 102 mph on I-93 in Ashland

ASHLAND - State police say they stopped two men in separate cars, both going more than 100 mph heading northbound on Interstate 93 on Saturday.

Police say they clocked Bowen Chen, 23, of Malden, Mass. and his friend an Xingchao Li, 25, of Boston, going 102 mph in a 70 mph zone in Ashland.

Both men were charged with reckless operation. They are scheduled to appear in Plymouth District Court on March 24.
