Police: 2 arrested after fight breaks out over parking spot in Gilford
GILFORD - Two men have been charged after a fight broke out over a parking space, police said.
An employee at the the Misty Harbor Resort reported the incident to police.
Police said an assault took place during that time and that Michael E. Delisle, 68, of 5 Pasture Road, North Swanzey, had allegedly commented that he was going to "get his .357 and put a bullet in your head now," to another person.
After getting a search warrant police found a .357 Magnum revolver inside the vehicle and seized it.
Delisle was arrested and charged with criminal threatening, a class A misdemeanor.
Police also arrested Blaine Delisle, 70, of 322 Codding Hollow Road, Johnson, Vt. He is charged with simple assault, a class A misdemeanor.
Police said it is unclear what the relationship is between the two men arrested.
Both men are free on $1,000 personal recognizance bail each. Both are scheduled to appear in Laconia district court March 19.
The investigation is ongoing, and police said additional arrests could be made.
