PLYMOUTH (AP) — Faculty members at Plymouth State University have voted to form a union.
New Hampshire Public Radio reports that about 60 percent of the tenure and tenure-tracked faculty voted to organize with the American Association of University Professors.
Biology professor Chris Chabot says the vote will make it easier for faculty and administration to communicate with each other.
The Plymouth school is one of four public universities that make up the University System of New Hampshire.
The University of New Hampshire and Keene State College have their own faculty unions.
