RUMNEY — A high school senior just 3 days away from graduating was killed in a car crash on Route 25.
Shannon Nadeau, 18 of Rumney, was set to graduate from Plymouth Regional High School, the superintendent said.
N.H. State police responded to the scene of a serious car accident at the intersection of Route 25 and School Street in Rumney on Wednesday.
Police said the 2002 Dodge Neon was driven by Nadeau and stopped at the intersection before moving into the path of a 2012 Hino Box truck when the cars collided.
The driver of the truck was identified as Lawrence Kies, 56, of Manchester, Conn.
Nadeau was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kies suffered minor injuries and was transported to Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth.
The investigation into the crash in ongoing.
