Pizza, cookies and 'thank you' cards dropped off at NH police stations

A couple of police stations in the Granite State received sentiments from residents Friday in the wake of the Dallas shootings that killed 5 police officers.

Cookies and “thank you” cards were dropped off at the Nashua Police Department while pizza and salads were sent to the police station in Pelham.

Both Nashua and Pelham police tweeted a picture of the goodies and cards, thanking those who dropped them off.

The shootings in Dallas began during a protest about the recent killings by police of black men in Louisiana and Minnesota.

Five officers were killed and seven others were wounded. Two civilians were also wounded.
