Pittsfield woman faces intent to distribute charges after vehicle search

HENNIKER — Police report finding 14.6 grams of methamphetamine and six fingers of heroin in the vehicle of a woman they charged with drug possession after a traffic stop.

Michelle Vergato, 30, of Pittsfield, New Hampshire was originally arrested for charges of driving while intoxicated, but then detectives allegedly saw a vitamin container filled with an illegal drug in her purse.

Vergato's vehicle was seized, and her charges were increased to intent to distribute after police searched it.

A probable cause is scheduled for Oct. 4.
