Phrases :-)


Every now and again I’ll use a British saying and forget that A: I’m in America and B: that my husband is American and therefor has no clue what I’m talking about. Ahh being from different countries is such fun :-)

Today’s saying “bobs your uncle”

…And Bob’s your uncle is an expression of unknown origin, commonly used in Britain and Commonwealth nations. Typically, someone says it to conclude a set of simple instructions, similar to the French expression “et voilà!”.
