PHOTO GALLERY: Thirsty ducks waddle into Pelham liquor store

PELHAM — Humans aren't the only ones who feel like they need a drink every once and a while.

Pelham animal patrol officers were called to the town's liquor store after getting reports that a family of ducks found their way in on Friday.

The liquor store was in the process of getting a delivery where employees were walking in and out the back door, when one employee turned around to find a mother and her baby ducklings inside the store.

The ducks were identified as Mallard type ducks. Employees were then able to contain them in a box in the storage room before animal patrol got there.

The ducklings and their mother were then released in a nearby pond next to the liquor store's plaza and happily swam away.

Check out photos of the ducks' release below!
