Person rescued from beneath rubble after home explodes in Vermont

GUILFORD, Vt. — Firefighters are on the scene of a house explosion in Guilford, VT. One person was trapped in the rubble, but crews were able to pull them out.

Officials say it happened at 33 Great Blue Heron Drive.

A neighbor reported hearing the explosion around 2:30 Wednesday morning, but didn’t think much of it until they woke up and saw the house was leveled.

Crews from Guilford, Brattleboro, Putney and Keene, NH are on scene.
