Permits required in NH for outdoor burning

The Associated Press

WOLFEBORO (AP) - As N.H. property owners start spring yard cleanup chores, they may look to burn brush, branches and debris - but they need a permit.

State law requires written permits for any type of burning on the ground, including campfires and cooking fires. Permits are not required for most charcoal and gas barbecue grills.

Written burn permits are only valid for the date they are issued.
