Pedestrian suffers a head injury when hit by pick-up truck in Manchester

MANCHESTER - A pedestrian who was hit by a pick-up truck on South Willow Street was listed in serious but stable condition at Elliot Hospital late last night.

Police say Peter DelMatro, 58, was walking south on South Willow when Philip Pare, 31, of Manchester pulled out of the parking lot of CVS Pharmacy and Cactus Jack's around 6 p.m. in his 2015 Chevy Silverado. As Pare tried to pull out, he hit DelMatro.

DelMastro suffered a head injury as a result of the crash.

Police say speed or alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors. The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this crash is urged to contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711.
